While this is an adorable cat, I would consider this a snapshot rather than a "finished" photo. The sharpness and clarity is strong, however hopefully there are a few things I can suggest to get a stronger photo.

First, while photographing animals, you usually should be at the same eye level as they are. Being slightly above her is a little off, and not the best angle for her.

The flash is a little strong, as I tend to prefer natural light for animal photos, and I'd recommend either shooting with natural light and/or using a flash with a soft box/diffuser of some kind.

The background is also distracting. Look for neutrals and the farther away the background is from your subject, the nicer the bokeh will be.
